Plu 2012 - Home page

Plu provides education-based activities, theatre, music and information for children aged 0-6 years and their parents/carers. Many activities and lots of the shows are suitable for children aged up to 10 years.

Around 40% of what we provide is free and we try to keep prices as low as possible for things that incur a cost.

Plu is organised and staffed by volunteers.

Mr Bloom is SOLD OUT - 10 tickets for each session will be available for sale on Friday at 10am when gates open. TWO TICKETS PER PERSON (this lets in two adults and two children).

FAIRGROUND RIDES
We are using a TOKEN system for fairground rides (£1) - you can purchase tokens from the INFORMATION POINT at the festival.

CAN YOU HELP? Plu depends on voluntary help. If you can spare a couple of hours to work or bake, please download our form here, complete it, save it as a new file on your computer, then emaii or post it to: info@pluedinburgh.co.

It is with great sadness that we must bid farewell to this wonderful festival. Plu will cease to be as from Friday 29th June 2012. We have struggled financially over the past 3 years and unfortunately this was our make-or-break year. With more and more charities competing for diminishing funds, play days like ours are the first to be overlooked in favour of more deserving causes, which is understandable. Despite this sad end, It has been the best rollercoaster ride for those of us fortunate enough to have been at the front line of this event over the past 8 years and we would not have changed a moment. We have the most wonderful memories to take with us, all made by you.

Thank you, everyone, for all your fantastic support - it has been so rewarding watching you playing and having fun.
