‘Swinging Sounds & Funky Grooves The Five String Way’ Formed in Edinburgh in November 2007 the Banjo Lounge 4 are a finger-popping, tune-swinging acoustic quartet that combine the awesome power of double bass, fast and funky drums, fat strumming acoustic guitar and the novelty redneck jazz styling of the five string banjo. Probably Scotland’s only banjo led four piece the band have many years of gigging experience at all levels of the music business and they know exactly how to get the room jumping and jiving. In 2011 Caroline made it to the final of Forth One's 'One to Watch' competition and worked with legendary producer Stuart Epps (Elton John, Robbie Williams, Led Zepplin and Oasis) and has just signed her first music licence deal. She has started working on new material with Jamie Duffin and has a number of performances lined up for the year ahead. Caroline album Take A Look will be available at Plu for £5 and for everyone that buys one, they'll get her first album 'Someday' for free. Bargain! Dropkick   DROPKICK
Dropkick play songs that capture a power pop spirit tinged with a country edge, shimmering guitars and vocal harmonies that recall classic California bands and local contemporaries such as Teenage Fanclub and Daniel Wylie. Dropkick have released 2 EPs and 10 critically acclaimed albums, the latest of which Time Cuts The Ties is out now on Swedish label Sound Asleep Records. They have performed live on Children In Need, headlined 2 tours of Spain and been described by BBC Radio Scotland's Tom Morton as "Scotland's finest alt-country powerpop band". Little Love and the friendly vibes   LITTLE LOVE AND THE FRIENDLY VIBES
Little Love and the Friendly Vibes are a three peice Fun Pop band from Edinburgh.
Formed in June 2011, the band play a mixture of Indie Pop, Folk and Pop Punk all combined with upbeat lyrics and catchy sing along melodies. The band are to release their debut EP 'Fun Pop' over this summer.
Our upcoming gigs include Pet Jam, a mini charity music festival hosted by us on March the 22nd at Henry's Cellar Bar in Edinburgh and Live and Unsigned at The Bay in Glasgow on the 21st of April. SEE: http://www.facebook.com/littlelove.official
